Fellow Maidstonian compatriot and general lad, Ben Ingle, had the pleasure of a visit and brief stay to at our house this week on account of attending an open day at Goldsmiths. For entertainment we witnessed the 2009 Oxford Circus Christmas lights being switched on by Jim Carrey and partook in the world record breaking carol sing-a-long, hence the continuation of my brilliant pun titles. Apart from investing time in convincing him that the institution is perfect for his mind set, he was also kind enough to offer his services as model, for the Studio TimBo debut shoot.
Obviously I am still in a world of experimental pain, just trying to learn which light combinations create what effects etc. However as always with interesting characters it was a worth while portraiture experience. As a result I produced quite a weird range of styles.
I'd like to start with the following shot. If you know Ben, this will either make you choke with laughter or upset you to a horrible degree. Whatever the result, this is the Bingle I created. & I Love it!
The fine combination of alcohol, Sub Focus, and Kettle chips made it more of a laugh then you could possibly imagine. Thus the REAL Bingle came out to play with absolute ease & totally removed all awkward elements of a studio environment.
