There's not a great deal to be said about these shots other then the fact that it was halloween & my sister was, as always, a readily available, dressed up model. Also that I have been playing with tints.
Having said that, It has come to light (excuse that brilliant pun) that for studio work at least, tints are massively overlooked in my thought process. For fashion and promotional shots especially, they contribute to the 'mood' by complimenting the model in a way which sets the content up to appear comfortable and giving the subject a sense of belonging to both the clothes she is wearing & the environment that surrounds her. I also tried to take this notion one step further by adding a softening glow to the extremities of the frame to promote the idea of an angelic and harmless image, too soft to offend.
